A few of my friends are making a return trip to New Orleans this week, and I wish I could have joined them. News coverage has been steady since our last trip, including some tough questions about the likelihood and the worth of rebuilding.
With all the guarded optimism I can muster, here are a couple of articles that offer us some new hope, again:
City officials have unveiled their billion-dollar rebuilding plan.
The cases against insurance companies are finally starting, with many more likely to follow.

Gannon just launched The Art of the 3 Disciplines. I’ve been looking forward to this for a long time, especially his ideas and research on education and mental discipline.
